Updates, Glorious Updates

Normally when I see an update to an online store that I’ve used, or even Facebook it is just annoying, they change the layout of everything meaning you have to relearn how to use it again, this gets annoying and we all go back to MySpace. But with the new PlayStation Store update… My word has it been improved. Granted the second i  saw it I was instantly reminded of Windows Metro user interface but it’s nothing like it. For one, its good! This is the first update that has drastically improved something, ever. The old store used to take a while (for me at least) to load but not anymore, this streamlined store loads fast, looks amazing and is really easy to use. Normally I wouldn’t bore you with news of a store update but this one really is worth a mention. The PlayStation Store has now become a smooth, easy to use experience . I think I’m in love and its all down to Sony.

In other kinds of updates, Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar announced earlier this week that Grand Theft Auto V will be released in Spring 2013 on PlayStation 3 and XBox360, which when you think about it isn’t that long away now. In the update they again confirm that it will be present day and state that it is set in the:

‘’largest and most thriving game-world we have ever created set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and for miles beyond – from the tops of the mountains to the depths of the ocean.’’ – Rockstar Newswire

Does this imply that we can once again swim and dive in the water and maybe a reimagining of the oyster collectables from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas?

Also preorders for Grand Theft Auto V are live across the globe, if you haven’t already I suggest preordering a copy now to guarantee your release day copy. (I swear I wasn’t paid to say that.)

Also in related news, Grand Theft Auto V’s 2nd trailer has been announced and will be released November 14 2012. At this time that’s all the information I have on the trailer, as we all know Rockstar are very good at being tight lipped when they want to be. They have been assuring the world that November will be the month for updates and our patients will be rewarded, only time will tell.
