Being a little late to the Source Filmmaker party has left me without critical Half Life information. whilst playing around in the Hammer editor supplied with SFM I stumbled upon something a little odd under ‘info_node_hint’.

In the settings there are numerous options for ‘Ep3 Blob’. No doubt that the rest of the online community has already discovered and picked this apart but I thought it was worth mentioning again just because I could… that and it came as news to me. Also in the Source Filmmaker itself there have been hints towards an Episode 3 as well as a second version of the Source engine.

It turns out that the files first turned up in the Alien Swarm SDK and also Dota2 contained some files that hinted towards Episode 3 as well.
