GTA:V, Collections and GTAIII

I really should post things as soon as I see them instead of looking at the time and realizing that its far too early in the morning and I should call it a night. That is what happened last night, I spotted an update on the Rockstar Games site about Grand Theft Auto V and then spotted the time was 5am so held off on the update, sorry.

But anyway, Grand Theft Auto V, with details being rare and a release date even rarer, Rockstar have promised more updates are coming in November.

“Lots of info coming next month. Get ready.”

With that update they also gifted us all with the first piece of official artwork from Grand Theft Auto V named ‘Pest Control’ which (as its title suggests) shows the guys jumping out of the pest control van as seen in the trailer. I’m hoping that one of the things they announce next month is the release date then we will all know when our pockets will be emptied into Rockstar’s bank account.

In other news have you ever wanted to own Midnight Club: Los Angeles Complete Edition, L.A. Noire, Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes From Liberty City? Chances are you already have them in your collection but Rockstar have decided to copy Valve with the Orange Box and release them all again, this time they will be released in the Rockstar Games Collection Edition 1 which will be available on PlayStation 3 and XBox360 and is released November 6th 2012 In North America. It will retail at around $59.99 and at this point it is unknown if we in the UK will be getting the collection. Also this collection won’t be available on pc as Red Dead Redemption wasn’t released on pc and I doubt that they will ever release it on pc.

Finally don’t forget that you can now go retro and play Grand Theft Auto III on PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Store. At only $9.99/£7.99/€9.99 this is the original version, no updated trophies and no trophies but still well worth the money, I mean come on… It’s the original (3D) Liberty City! I’d buy it again if I didn’t still have the PlayStation 2 set up next to the TV.
